we are running the Apllication Control Policies as a whitelist. So everything is blocked by default exept for the whitelisted applications.
Bad about this way is, when sophos adds a new application or change an application to/in the list, we are maybe blocking an needed application. For example one of the last changes was the citrix workspace and our users were blocked using it.
I'm now searching for a way to get informed when sophos is making a change and which applications has been added.
By searching i found this: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/threat-center/threat-analyses/controlled-applications.aspx and it leads in a way i've been thinking of. So i try to use the RSS feed in Microsoft Teams and for testing in another RSS Reader. Teams shows me an incomplete list und the RSS Reader says the xml is invalid.
Is there another way for me to get informed or is it possible to fix the xml?
