Adding exclusions for active directory and vms

I have been searching for a comprehensive list of exclusions for my vm environment and was pointed to several different links.  Can someone please verify that from the looks of these lists, I need to manually enter about 50-60 exclusions from the article listed below and then if I also follow the 11 character format of each of those from the second article, that would be another 50-60 entries, and then if I mistype an entry or miss anything, it could cause my vms not to start and need to be re-created and restored from backup or my domain controller's replication to fail.  Is that correct?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

  • Thank you, but I have already seen this list.  My question is that this list will produce 100's of exclusions and it seems like I am still posing a risk that it could interfere with my AD replication or that my vms could become corrupt.  I want to hear what other people are doing.
