MCS Agent Service

Question

Hi everyone! 
 
 On my Win2020 R2 server is see that MCS Agent Service is constantly using 25% CPU (one core). And I also can see that the RAM usage is constant. So I assume the service just hung up. 
 My question: Can I solve this issue without rebooting the machine? Stop/Start service is not available for this Agent...

 You will need to disable tamper protection and then check if you are able to restart the service?

 I was not aware that the tamper protection is preventing me from restarting the service...
