Controlled Updates Test Computers via API

I am trying to write some automation routines using the Sophos API.  As one part of this, I have been wrapping available functionality in the Sophos API (https://developer.sophos.com/apis) into a PowerShell module.

Another part of the automation is during system provisioning, determining the proper sub-estate for an endpoint, and running the Sophos installer providing the appropriate customer token, and device group.

However, we currently do not have a sub-estate for Test/Prod differentiation.  We are using sub-estates mostly as a means of controlling when Sophos receives an update, so we can ensure it receives them during a patching window, so we can reboot to finalize the install, however we are also using it for some logical boundaries that exist in our organization, and we are using Test Computers to control releasing updates to non-production systems prior to production systems for the same logical boundaries.  Currently we are manually adding non-production endpoints to the Controlled Updates Test Computers manually from the Console.  Instead, I would like to do this via the API, but I can't find an endpoint that provides this functionality.

Is setting the Test Computers for Controlled Updates a functionality that exists in the API currently?

Is there a way to set this, aside from doing so manually in the console?

Thanks
