I have one OSX computer that keeps restarting the SophosDeviceControlD. It appears to be doing this every three minutes. It will stop, then three minutes later start back up, run for 30 seconds then stop again.
I have done a complete uninstall/reinstall of Sophos following the KB's and the issue still remains. I did also check follow this: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/127413 but no prompt appeared, although I believe I did this awhile back. We do have more than one iMac on the LAN and the other is not having this issue. It is odd, about every 3 minutes it disconnects/stops then it restarts.
The computer in question is an iMac runnings OSX 10.13, any help with how to resolve this is appreciated.
On a side note: It is really annoying that this has also been going on for a couple weeks and I did not get an email alert on this.
Does this basically mean if Sophos service stop and restart every three minutes no alert is sent?
