Overview
Sophos is currently investigating some reports of the Sophos Central ADsync Utility intermittently reporting a "Failed active directory synchronization" error, with no intervention or changes with the account used to login.
This is primarily seen during a configured scheduled sync times (vs manual syncing), and this particular failure started on or after May 21st.
Example error:
- HTTP request to cloud.sophos.com/.../sessions error InternalServerError:
- Failed active directory synchronization. Reason: System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException --->CommandLib.HttpRequestCommand+HttpStatusException: Exception of type 'CommandLib.HttpRequestCommand+HttpStatusException' was thrown.
