Not getting notified by mail on Self auto-isolation on red health

Hi

I have a problem which I couldn't figure out. I've turned on 'self auto-isolation on red health' and ran a malicious script that you provided. The machine auto isolates itself but I never get notified about it by mail. I do get an email from Sophos that a computer changed its status to 'Red Health' but that's all. It's a great feature but without getting notified about computers/servers that isolated themselves, it's worthless (for me). I've checked if our spam filter may be blocked that mail but it didn't. Also, I double-checked if my email address is configured to get alerts and it is.

I even did the following:

Nothing helped.. Please assist

Thanks

  • Hello

Services not running or a malware event that could not be cleaned up automatically by Sophos would also produce a red health event, and would cause isolation to occur (if this is enabled) so you would receive an email alert.

Email alerts for device auto-isolation specifically, is not currently a feature of Sophos. Please vote for the feature here or if you have specifics on the request, you can either add a comment, or create a new entry - the more votes it gets, the more visibility the issue gets with Product Management.
