File Exclusions for MYOB running in Azure VM

Hi All, 
 
 We have a Windows Server 2016 Datacentre virual machine running in Azure, and we are using this to host MYOB for our finance team. I am looking for advice on any best practice for file exlusions or settings that will allow this to run effectively. 
 
 We have Sophos Intercept X and Server protection installed. Server protection is version 10.8.6, Intercept X is 2.0.16

Hi Steven Reid 
 I'd suggest you contact the vendor of your application MYOB for providing the exclusions for the Anti-Virus. 
 Exclusions for any of the applications are always advised by their vendor as that is the basic practise to avoid any security breaches in the environment.
