Overview

Sophos Central Advisory: March 5th from 12:00 pm  EDT  - PDB - MSP Partners unable to create a Virtual Firewalls in Central Partner Dashboard, receive "Failed to create virtual firewall" (via Partner Dashboard or Sophos.com).

Impact

Sophos is aware of an issue that prevented new Virtual Firewalls from being created successfully.

• Trying to create a Virtual Firewall from Partner Dashboard: Firewall tab: https://cloud.sophos.com/manage/partner/firewall/assign/managed;
• Press button Request Virtual Firewall;
• Select Registrant : Partner email is selected automatically, or select from drop down;
• Select Subscription: EG:  FullGuardPlus;
• Select size: Any size;
• Assign to : Any MSP Central Account;
• Press "Create Firewall;
• Next you will receive confirmation with details chosen and press SAVE. Received "Failed to create virtual firewall";
• Trying with any Registrant, any Subscription Assigned to any other MSP Central Account with any Size firewall, all fail with same error.

Current status

This is currently under investigation, Sophos is actively working on a resolution for this issue.
