Answering a email with an embedded jpeg signature causes the email to be blocked as spam.

Hello Everyone,

We are using the email gateway from sophos central.

The user receives the email without issue, it isn't blocked by sophos central.

The email contains an embedded jpeg with the company address and personal information of the sender.

However when the user tries to reply to the email, it is automatically blocked as spam. If the user deletes the embedded jpeg, it goes through with no problem.

1) Why does sophos central allow the original email through if it contains "spam"?  I haven't added the sender to the allow list.

2) Why does sophos central block an outgoing email from a certified domain user anyway? Normally it shouldn't to begin with regardless of the jpeg.

3) What can I do to fix this situation, for now the user deletes the jpeg when answering, but that’s not really a solution I can accept for the long term.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Shawn
