Sophos for Virtual Environments on stand alone HyperV host

Has anyone been able to deploy Sophos for Virtual Environments on stand alone HyperV host?

The host is not domain joined and has a GUI.  

I have tried to run the installed locally on the HyperV host and remotely from a laptop on the same network. 

I keep on getting an error "Failed to successfully connect to Sophos Central with Error: Failed to obtain Sophos Central configuration data, data not in expected format. Ensure email, password and proxy and or network settings are correct"

I have logged a ticket by Sophos support, but they have been no assistance.

    The username and password is correct - I use it to login to Sophos Central. It does have MFA enabled, is this supported?

    The article you linked contains information on the Firewall Configuration required between the Security VM and Guest VM I am having issues with the first part of the deployment. ie. deploying the security VM, I dont have a security VM yet.
