How will Sophos treat the end of life for Windows 7?

Question

Hi everyone, 
 As Windows 7 is reaching end of life it will no longer be patched and will cause vulnerabilities on our network. 
 We are currently undergoing the project of upgrading every windows 7 machine we have which is a large task. 
 My manager was asking how Sophos will deal with any machines that are still running windows 7 at that point. 
 Will they raise an alert? Will Sophos continue to support Windows 7? Is there anyway to keep Windows 7 machines running on our network and domain to run expensive software and hardware that wont run on Windows 10 without creating vulnerabilities for the rest of our network using Sophos? 
 Apologies if these are odd questions. Our team working on the upgrade seem to be running behind and we are hoping to limit any negative effects of this overrunning.

 Please have a look at this KB article for reference: Sophos Endpoint Security and Control: Retirement calendar for supported platforms and operating systems 
 This has the retirement definition, and dates, for Windows 7 and server 2008. There is also a mention of "Extended support contracts" (similar to what is in place for Windows XP currently), this will be offered but information on this will be posted when available. 
 Sophos Central users should receive an alert and directed to the KB article referenced above. 
 With extended support, you'll only get AV updates, but there will not be any patches for OS vulnerabilities (since those patches come from MS).
