Intercept X (with EDR) Licencing question

Question

Hello, 
 
 i cant find this information: 
 is it possible to mix intercept X advanced with intercept X advanced with edr Licences? 
 for example: 5 clients uses intercept x advanced and 10 clients uses intercept x advanced with edr

As mentioned already, you can't mix 2 different endpoint / Intercept license types in the same account typically. However there is a workaround; you can enable Enterprise Management in Central and create 2 different Sub-Estates, one licensed one way, and one another; of course there is the limitation that all the clients are not immediately manageable in the same GUI at the same time, but you can open the 2 Sub-Estates up and manage them separately. Your Sophos Reseller should be able to help with this.

I'm sure that you can put a feature request in for it -- you can do that here: www.sophos.com/.../feature-requests.aspx 
 I don't know that is something they could ever or would be willing to implement -- would be a management nightmare -- admins having to select which PCs get what features, more possibilities of license over usage, etc. I have a customer now that is in the same boat now because of various reasons, and our answer is to implement sub-estates for them.
