Where to add allowed application from events list?

I am probably missing something obvious, but where this says, 'You can do this from the events list.' Where exactly can I do this from my events list(log?)?   I do not see any options in the Events.  I can add it manually fine, but just wondering if I am overlooking an option in the events.
