Errors when installing via script GPO

I have managed to install the Sophos End point Protection via the exe with no issues. I then followed the instructions to set up a script and deploy via GPO (Start up script) and all seems to work ok and appears in Sophos Central Cloud with a green tick.

However after around 30 mins later it appears with a red ! and shows either this error or something similar - "Failed to install Malicious Traffic Detection (64-bit): unexpected error."

It then just sits on "One or more Sophos services are missing or not running"

When i go to the client machine and double click the Sophos icon in bottom right it also shows a red ! and says some components are missing?

Please advise?

Hi Alex Burkett

"Failed to install Malicious Traffic Detection(64-bit): Unexpected error" means Component Network threat protection (NTP) is failed to install on the machine. Detailed installation logs of this component will be available on the below path with the name "Sophos Network threat protection with date". Please provide the logs from any of these below locations:

C:\Windows\Temp

%temp%

Thank you for the logs.

I have reviewed the logs and found the error related to permission for the SSP user (SetupSspUserAccount: OLDUSERGROUP does not exist - not adding permissions).

I would recommend you to open a support case for this as it may need to be escalated with many other logs.
