Sophos Central Email issue.

Hello Everyone

A strange thing happens with the Sophos Central. I have configured the email alert to get mail notifications for example at test@sophosnet.com at Sophos central and I get a strange Do-Not_reply email notification from Sophos central to another email domain for example test@sophoscom.com that this domain user exists in the company, but I have never configured Sophos central to send emails to that email address and the email says that one of the PCs it is infected with malware. This PC doen't exist inside my LAN. Could this be a Spam email ?Or except the Global settings > Configure email alerts, is there another point that I can place an email to send notifications?

Thank you

  • Hi

Sophos Central automatically sends email alerts to administrators when events occur. Medium and high severity events that require action send alerts. You can't control which type of alert goes to which administrator However you can choose which administrators you want to receive alerts. Click Yes or No in the administrator's details to do this.
