Sophos endpoint mapping problems

Hello Marcelo Puntel,

Sophos can be a lot of things although it's clear that it is some Endpoint/Server protection (and likely on Windows). There are, depending on your license, several optional components and you don't have to install them albeit they are included. Could you give the details?

Off the top of my head I can't say what could cause the mapping to fail. Your script for mapping drives gives an error message when the mapping fails? What command or function does it use?

I'm not aware that a component other than the Sophos Client Firewall (SCF) would interfere with net use. As said, it'd be helpful if you could tell which Sophos components are installed.

Please follow this article and disable all the components one by one and in between that check whether the script is working fine.

Once the script is working fine, just note down the name of that particular component which you disabled.

Please let us know the component which is causing the issue.

 Net Use returns "System error 64 has occurred. The specified network name is no longer available."

Can you manually create the mapped drive?

One other thought, I am not sure how you are deploying the script, I have the full Sophos licensing as you do and have login scripts with Net Use working.  But I am using the login script set to the user object in AD.
