Linux Server Protection with SMTP/HTTP and Docker support ?

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding Your software:

1) Is it possible to integrate this software with SMTP and HTTP ? Our application receiving informations mostly via SMTP (E-mail) and HTTP (upload documents).

Is there any way to create some kind of Milter and integrate Sophos with Postfix ?

What about HTTP ? Will it be possible for example to create kind of proxy where uploaded document will be scanned ?

Does this Antivir has all that features in one software package or we have to order (...and install) dedicated packages for each feature.

2) How its working with containers ? Docker, Openshift... Supported ?

3) Is there any possibility to open infected docus in some sandbox environment ?

Thanks in advance for Your support.

Cheers

Dlugasny

  • Hi there,

Sophos AV for Linux , is not designed to be integrated in to anything specific - rather it protects at the individual file level on the whole system.

The way i understand it,  with on-access running, every file access is detected at the kernel level and it is scanned.

It treats docker as just another filesystem and again, intercepts each file access whether inside or outside the container.

    does that help?
