No products available for this operating system?

Hi,

I'm trying to install the server protection software from Sophos Central, but when I try to install it I'm told that there are "No products available for this operating system" and I should "Download a different installer from Sophos Central"

Well, I've gone to "Server Protection" under "My products" on the left panel, then "Protect Devices" and downloaded the "Windows Server Installer" - is this not the correct installer for a windows server or am I missing something?

The server is running Windows Server 2016 Standard v1607.

    Check what you are licensed for in your Sophos Central. Click on your name on the upper-right side of the page, and click Licensing, see if your Central Server license is up-to-date?

     Just Intercept X Advanced ... That would be it then I suppose! I need to get hold of the same "...for Server" then.

    Yup, that is it! You may have had a trial for it at some point but that may have expired. You can contact your Sophos Partner for pricing and such, or use the Sophos Partner Locator if you don't have a partner just yet.

    Hi, I was just a little curious as to why it still shows up on the left hand panel and has download options even when I don't have the appropriate licence for it. Things like the Mobile add-ons don't show up if not licenced so why does the Server side of things remain?

    Anyway, I started the trial for the Server package and indeed, that error has now vanished. I've got in touch with my reseller for a quote already!

    The option to download the Server product is due to the precursor to the trial process. We are in the process of removing the old trial process that means you will no longer see the Server options when you don't have a license.
