Sophos Central Client with disk encryption enabled

Hi,
How do I uninstall a Sophos central client on Windows with disk encryption enabled? Do I need to decrypt the disk before removing Sophos?

 Sophos Central Device Encryption will only store the machine's recovery key on the cloud. You can uninstall Sophos Central endpoint from Control Panel>Program and features just make sure you have turned off tamper protection first. Uninstalling Sophos endpoint will not decrypt the machine. If you wish to decrypt the machine prior to uninstallation, then you can turn off device encryption in the encryption policy and then perform the uninstallation.
