Thank you for your patience on this. The options to decrypt the data would be either to slave the drive or follow the standard BitLocker recovery method. I will have to test this and see if it works. 

So in essence if the laptop is TMP encrypted , You should take out the HDD slave it into an enclosure and decrypt it .
