Size of Update

Good Day,

Pleae need to be informed if any light version of Sophos central are available, because the consumption result of the update file is very importante knowing that we have an limited volume internet subscription, also we would like to know the average of the amount of data consumed per month.

Best Regards,

  • If you have limited bandwidth, I suggest you setup Server Protection on a local server, and enable it as an update cache (see Central help for details).  The clients will update their definitions, engine, etc. from the server if you do that, so only one machine actually uses the internet for the big updates (the server).  The clients do still contact the cloud with status info etc. but the bandwidth usage for that is typically very low.
