Sophos Central Wireless Trial Expired - can't manage AP from local XG now

My trial for Sophos Central Wireless has expired. I managed my AP55 from SC until the expiration, but now I can't manage it from XG locally.

Guess I should have removed the AP from SC before the trial expired. Any idea how I can start managing it from XG locally? It's not showing up under "Pending" or "Active/inactive" locally and I can no longer see it on SC.

  • Hi Arie,

maybe it works, if you create a firewall policy on top where you drop connections from your AP ip to wan networks.
There should be a fallback mode, if no wan connection to sophos central is possible...

  • You need to get a Central Trial extension.

It is mandatory to delete a AP, if already bound to a Central Account.

I guess  or  can extend your trial to give you the option to delete it from Central.

Afterwards, the AP should be shown in XG.
