Does Sophos Central Detect the ShadowHammer Trojan

Question

We have been using Sophos Antivirus with our ASUS laptop and just found out about the ShadowHammer trojan that was released via ASUS servers affecting motherboards and MACs. Wanted to now if our Sophos Antivirus (and/or Interceptor X) will catch this malware. It is labeled as < HEUR:Trojan.Win32.ShadowHammer.gen >.  Any help on this issue will be appreciated.

I do not know if Sophos will or not, but there is an online checker to see if you do have it installed, https://shadowhammer.kaspersky.com/

Hi ML Rankin Thanks for reaching us. Yes, Sophos Antivirus will detect the known samples as Troj/ShadowHm-A. The sample mentioned in the link that you have posted will also be detected as Troj/ShadowHm-A ( Virustotal - Reference ). 
 Additionally, for Sophos Central customers, the samples will be detected as Mal/Generic-S (based on Live protection ) before the definitions are updated.
