What happens when my sophos central or Intercept X licensing expires?

I have a question that a client asked me and I'm not sure what answer to give.
When my license of central sophos or Intercept X expires that happens?
I keep receiving updates?
I'm still protected?

Hi mariano doque 
 After the license expires, the endpoints will not be able to fetch virus definitions updates and new endpoints cannot be deployed.
