sophos update cache downloader hohe cpu auslastung

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe auf einem Server 2016 Standard eine Central ServerProtection inkl. Update Cache installiert.
Seit der Installation, vor ca. 3 Wochen, schiesst der Prozess "sophos update cache downloader" in unregelmäßigen Abständen die CPU Auslastung bis auf 99% in die Höhe.

Hat jemand eine Idee für mich?

Hello, what is the specification of the server?

Hi Stephen,

the problem with the Update Cache Donwloader was from the beginning of the installation. We installed the relay Server last week. Here are the specifications:

1x Mainboard Intel Corporation S1200SP
1x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v5 @ 3.50GHz
4x 16GB RAM
1x Server 2016 Std

This Server is an Hyper-V Host only with the Hyper-V Services and the problems which i have is on a virtuell maschine. On this Host is only one virtuell Server...

Hello Paul Hutchinson

Please ensure that your servers meet the CPU and system requirements for Update Cache.

If you meet these requirements, please raise a support case for further review of the issue with the following information, at the very least:
• SDU Logs: Run SDU from the Endpoint OR Run SDU from Sophos Central
• Enable Remote Assistance
