How to block a website(s) only for specific computers?

I was trying to block a specific site on a specific PC within my organization. I had added it with a tag in the global settings, then while navigating the web policy on the device in question I opened the settings and added it to the "control sites tagged in web management", however that appears to have added it to all PCs. How can I narrow this down?

Hello Bryan Vlastelica,

the Central Admin Help on Computer policies notes: Editing the policy affects all users to which this policy is applied (perhaps it should say users and computers). I.e. it edits a policy but doesn't create a new one. You'd have to create a new policy, assign it to the computer in question, and prioritize it accordingly.

Thanks for the direction Christian! The difficulty here is the web control policy will only allow itself to be assigned to users but not computers. Is there a way around this?

Hello Bryan Vlastelica,

my bad, but then I'm a Central dunce. The Help isn't very clear but the Central Web Control FAQs indeed suggest that there are no Computer policies, only User and Server.
I don't think you can work around it but as said I'm not a Central expert.

I see it has already been requested (more than a year ago) and has currently 9 votes.

Thanks for the help again. Does make it difficult to implement certain things if there's a shared AD account in the mix, but only one location is wanting to lock down behavior/access to certain URLs.
