Removed Devices Still show up on alerts page.

So I have a bunch of alerts on sophos central from devices that have been deleted, so when i click on the device it says that the device has been deleted, so I figured that maybe reinstalling endpoint on that device will somehow fix it, turns out it didn't. It created a double of that device not connecting it with the previous one. So what happened was the device had issues with some services and now when I go on my alerts page I have the same device listed 2 times for the same issue. Please help me

    Hello Kaltrin Trena,

    Are you seeing new Alerts for removed devices, or old alerts? (If the latter, what type of alerts are they? Can you please provide more details?).

    Regarding the computers that are still showing in Central, did you remove them from Central after uninstalling Sophos from the systems? Do they still show up under Devices in Central?

    Can you please provide a screenshot of what are you seeing?

    These are old alerts from the computers, they probably were removed from sophos central before uninstalling sophos from the device, the alerts are different: Real time protection disabled, one or more sophos services missing, policy non-compliance.


     

    The devices underlined with red say the device has been deleted when i click at them

    Hi Kaltrin,

    If the alerts are old and you'd like to remove them,  you can try acknowledging them.

    Please see this document with instructions (scroll down for the "Take action against alerts" section) .
