  • This is really a FF policy option:

    support.mozilla.org/.../policies-enterprise
    github.com/.../README.md

As for Sophos, under Application Control, there are a number of Browser plug-ins that could be disabled (at the time of writing):

    Browser plug-in 37 / 38
    - AllMyApps
    - Amazon Assistant Service
    - Anonymox
    - Anti-phishing domain advisor
    - AppGraffit
    - ArtistScope
    - BatBrowse
    - BetterLinks
    - Blabbers
    - Browsec
    - Coupon Companion
    - DealPly
    - FaceTheme
    - Google Chrome Frame
    - Google Gears
    - Linksicle
    - McAfee SiteAdvisor
    - MySpeed ActiveX Control
    - Net Nanny
    - Price Check by AOL
    - PriceGong
    - PricePeep
    - QwikLinx
    - Sendori
    - Skype Click to Call
    - Snap.Do
    - The Amazon 1Button App
    - The Sea App
    - Unity Web Apps
    - Unity Web Player
    - Vosteran
    - Wajam
    - We-Care Reminder
    - WebCake Apps
    - Web of Trust (WOT)
    - Yontoo Apps
    - Yoono

If there is anything that is malicious in nature, that falls outside of the "Control" group then you would hope it would be detected and blocked at that point.

    Jak
