in Sophos Central we can see that hundreds of the PCs have installed Endpoint Advanced updates, yet they all have to be restarted to finish the installation.
PCs are rarely restarted, usually they are just shut down, but Endpoint Advanced needs a reboot instead.
Since Sophos doesn't provide a way to restart them from Sophos Central or to make the reboot prompt actually rebooting the PC and enforcing it, we considered making a script to do the job.
At the moment I am wondering how to do this, because I would need to check if Endpoint Advanced has a reboot pending.
Do you have any idea, where I could check that?
I know where to check for pending reboots from Windows updates, but I don't want to make the script dependant on Windows updates, rather on the Sophos EA updates themself.
