[Sophos Notification] Sophos Central: Extended Anti-Virus support for Windows XP/2003

Hi Community,

The following banner alerts will appear in Sophos Central if you have devices running Windows XP/2003.:

  • Support for Windows XP has stopped. From May 1st 2017, updates will stop and devices will no longer be protected. More details.

  • Support for Windows XP and 2003 has stopped. From May 1st 2017, updates will stop and devices will no longer be protected. More details. 

  • Support for 2003 has stopped. From May 1st 2017, updates will stop and devices will no longer be protected. More details.

Sophos always encourages customers to use the latest operating systems and service packs, however, we also recognize that some customers are unable to upgrade for various reasons and because of this Sophos is offering to extend the availability of support for both XP and 2003 from their current retirement dates until 17 April, 2020.

Please contact your Account Manager if you require extended support for these operating systems.
