Sophos and Malwarebytes Endpoint

We currently use Sophos Endpoint and Malwarebytes Endpoint security simultaneously on all company computers. Recently the Sophos updates have started to throttle computers and I am starting to believe it is Malwarebytes scanning, or trying to scan, the update files.

I am wanting to put exclusions in Malwarebytes so that it doesn't look at the Sophos files. Does anyone have a complete list of what I all need to exclude? I already found one for MB that I entered into Sophos.

Thanks!

  • Hi Erik Zabokrtsky,

I understand your concern here, but three reasons would key reasons for not recommending two file based Antivirus.

    1. Client PC power and resource consumption.
    2. Confliction between the Antivirus softwares.
    3. Two AV's trying to remediate the same virus file and ending up with failed actions.
