We use both Sophos and MB because about a year ago we were hit by crippling virus that took our entire company down... Sophos didn't pick it up at all but MB did perfectly. They compliment each other very nicely.

We didn't have an issue for awhile when we first switched over when running two Anti-Virus applications, but after some time Sophos wouldn't even install if it detected the other one.

Just be prepared in case this happens to you as well.

I understand your concern here, but three reasons would key reasons for not recommending two file based Antivirus.

1. Client PC power and resource consumption.
2. Confliction between the Antivirus softwares.
3. Two AV's trying to remediate the same virus file and ending up with failed actions.
