Sophos popups when clicking Google search link

I've been getting nuisance phone calls from one particular number so I checked Google for a link to check the number report, when clicking the link two Sophos popups occurred, one telling me to alter my privacy settings and another stating a program had tried to load a new system extension.

As I had never seen these before I was concerned about what they were, any details would be most welcome.
