Is there any recommended settings for macOS Clients - such as folders to exclude on scanning etc?

Hi Ben,

Just make sure I understand the question better, are you looking to create an exclusion or you want to know if there is anything you should be aware of?

Hi

Probably a bit of both.

I would guess that the SIP locations (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204899) can be excluded but I wondered if there are any settings that need to disabled such as "Real-Time Scanning" that could impact on the performance of the Mac?

We do not have any recommended set of folder exclusion for Mac as we have for Windows. It generally depends on the application that you use and I would suggest you to check with the respective application vendor if they have any recommendation for Anti Virus exclusion for their product.
