How do I add new clients automatically to a server group?

When you protect a server the server is added to the 'Servers' list in Sophos Central and the default Policies are applied. You can change this using the following Command Line Operation:

This applies to the thin installer (Windows); the question was about Linux

Really?!   I'm rather disappointed that such basic functionality essential to automation is "not supported for Linux as of yet".  

Given that Linux has been around and in fairly heavy use for ohhh... a couple of decades now... any thoughts on when Sophos might get around to properly supporting it?

Thanks... I looked at both of those... unfortunately the "installation guide" boils down to pretty much "download the script and run it".  It seems there aren't any real options for customizing or controlling the installation.   Guess I'll dig into the script a bit more to see what can be unofficially hacked.  But let's face it, in this day and age where processes are scripted across dozens or even hundreds of cloud instances, "log into the server and change it manually" is simply not an acceptable option for so-called Enterprise software.

It's unfortunate that during the sales phase of conversations with Sophos, customers are not better informed that if they are using Linux, they will basically be second class citizens and that the full list of features and capabilities are only available for Windows servers/clients.   I went into this eyes open as we've been using (and sometimes struggling) with Sophos products on Linux for years now... but I had hoped that the new Sophos Central-based solution would be a little more advanced on the Linux side than its turning out to be.
