Invincea built into Sophos Central

Question

Hello, 
 
 I was just on the phone with support for Sophos Central. 
 Since the new installer changed from SophosInstall.exe to SophosSetup.exe we've encountered an error stating that "Invincea is installed, this installer is not compatible with Invincea" 
 
 We run Invincea with Sophos Endpoint protection and have been testing Sophos Central. We've used the old installer (prior to this one being released) for over a month testing with no issues. 
 When this new one got released, we started receiving this error. 
 Support just stated to me over the phone that Invincea is now built into the Sophos Central installer. 
 Is there an article stating this information anywhere? 
 Is it wise to stop paying for Invincea all together if the same level of protection is supplied by Sophos Central itself?

Hi Nick, 
 The Sophos Central Installer is not compatible with Invincea products including Dell Protected Workspace (DPW) which is a Dell-branded version of Invincea. Hence why you are receiving this error.
