There have been 2 issues that were identified with the presence of an Update Cache that can cause issues with installation and updating on a MacOS:
Issue #1: Failure to order the Update Cache list. This impacts both Installer and Updating. It will use update cache locations in Alphabetical order (and Sophos last). This can cause updating from unexpected caches.
Issue #2: Failure to detect failure to update from Update Cache. Only applies to the Installer. This prevents the Installer from detecting that the Update Cache is not accessible, and causes the Installer to stay on a "Downloading" screen that never completes.
