Cleanup Failed

Sophos detected OSX/Geneio-A on my MacBook Pro. I hit the clean up threat button and got a message saying that the clean up failed. Since it's in the quarantine folder, I assume the malware hasn't been installed on my computer. Is that a correct assumption? Thanks. If no, what do I need to do?

Generally yes. It's best to check the log and see (a) where is was detected and (b) see if that reveals the reason why it's failling to be cleaned up. See the thread below to learn about the logs - depending on how it was detected you may need to check one or more logs.
