Sophos compatible firewall on Laptop?

Hi, after solving some great trouble on the PC caused maybe through a firewall, the admins installed Sophos anti vir on my laptop.

Which Firewall is compatilbe with it? (Which hopefully doesnt need a seperate PC to run and will not bring the Pc out of order?)

    Just to confirm:  When you say 'PC' do you mean a Mac running OS X 10.x?

    It's possible you mean a Windows PC or a Mac running a version of Microsoft Windows (bootcamp, virtual machine, etc.).  If you can confirm I can advise further.
