Sophos stalling

Sophos stalls when I reaches a certain file (crushftp3.dmg). I have searched my MAC and no such file is found. How can I delete this file and get the scan to continue?

    I don't mean to try your patience but I'm 70 yrs. old and doing my best. I've clicked around but can't figure out how to quit the stalled Sophos scan, start a new one, nor how to turn off TimeMachine temporarily while I turn on a Sophos scan.  --hatual
