TomTom updates blocked

Hi

I regularly update my TomTom navigation device, usually daily, but since installing ver 9.0.3 of Sophos Home Edition I cannot gain access to the TomTom server without first disabling Sophos Web Proctection (both options). I have tried entering different URLs & IPs in the 'Allowed Websites' for the TomTom server but I have not been successful in updating my TomTom with Web Protection enabled. Switch it off and updating works OK.

I have concluded that either I am entering the wrong 'Allowed Websites' info' or Sophos is ignoring my entries and blocking the TomTom server in the mistaken belief the TomTom server is a source of malware.

Has any other member encountered this problem and can suggest whether I am at fault or whether it is Sophos causing the problem?

    What sites are you blocking at the moment?

    Do you really have to disable both options for the update to work?  Does the problem change (maybe you see different behavior) if you disable one and not the other?  Test all (four) combinations to be sure.
