Finder scan doesn't exist - ?

Recently installed Sophos: all working fine except there is no Finder scan. It's detailed in the manual, so why isn't it there? Have I disabled it by mistake?

Mac OS 10.6.8.

Finder: highlight a file; right-click (or ctrl-click): there is no More option and no Scan with Sophos option. Finder, Servics has no scan option.

I can scan the file by dragging it to the Sophos icon, but that's the only way. It would be much easier to be able to right-click & scan: what am I missing?

Thanks

  • Hi Alan,

You might need to log out and log in again. The Finder is not always great at picking up the changes we make when inserting that option during installation.
