Sophos Antivirus Home Edition for Mac - Installation Failed

Hi there,

I have been trying to install version savos_80he.10.8+.dmg but the installation keeps failing. 

I sent this email to Sophos with a screenshot of the failed dialog together with the console logs for the preview install and the actual install log but they referred me to this forum.

I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

System setup:

27" iMac (mid 2011)
OSX 10.8.2
16 MB RAM

    By chance, are you trying to install over Wifi?  Do you have access to an ethernet cable if you are?

    Sometimes there are issues with network configurations during the software verification process.

    If you could link the screenshot and console logs here, we may be able to provide more help.
