Since installing Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac I have noticed that my extrnal Time Machine hard disk - a WD Studio II drive connected with FW800 - is no longer sleeping. I tried restarting the computer and then not starting any applications that might be keeping it awake, but still it won't sleep. Before installing Sophos the drive would sleep (it did not suffer from the Mavericks bug that keeps some FW drives from sleeping). Is this a known issue and is there a way to solve it?
