Can not run custom scan with bootcamp/windows volume excluded

Question

Help!  I have set up a custom scan to exclude the Windows volume.  However, the "play" button is greyed out and I can't run the scan.  Any advice or workarounds? :1000875

But if I can't run the set up custom scan 
 how did you set up the scan? Did you only specify an exclusion? If so, it is no surprise that the Run button is grey. You have to select at least on Scan item and optionally items to exclude.
