NeoOffice doesn't respond properly since Sophos AV Mac install

Hi,

I just wanted to ask if anyone else experiences this problem. Since I installed the free Mac Home Edition NeoOffice either takes forever to launch or it won't launch at all. My girlfriend has the same problem since she got herslef the Sophos app too. Does anybody know something?

  • I had just this problem and it seems it is due to Sophos having to unpack all the Java jar files. Just uncheck "scan inside archives and compressed files" in the On-Access Scanning preference pane and all will be back to normal.
