I am a newbie and a friend of "One finger Louie", in other words completely at a loss with SOPHOS Anti Virus 9.0.8
I downloaded earlier today onto my Mac Book Pro 13" Retina OSX 10.9.2.
I activated "Scan this Mac"- "Scan all files and folders on this Mac"
The scan stopped with 272,879 items remaining.
The blue ribbon infill is about halfway along the progress bar, with the right hand button labelled "Stop Scan"
It has not moved all day and verifies 272,879 items remaining to be scanned.
If you know why this is happening and the way to solve this problem enabling SOPHOS to do it's task, I would be most grateful.
Thanking you in anticipation of the solution, which may cause me extreme embarrassment!
