SophosscanD CPU usage

Dear sir,

 

Since a few days the SophosscanD process is using 100 - 200% of the CPU and it is slowing down my Mac.

Sophos version: 9.6.1.

Do you have any ideas how to solve this?

    Hello Steven,

    not the same but a similar question here. I haven't checked how detailed the information in the SophosDiagnostics logs is but maybe it's at least a start.
    Is the usage now constantly high (200% - how much is the maximum, never heard of CPU-over-commitment) , does it drop and rise again after a reboot?
