Freezing Problem & Detected Threats Don't Show in Quarantine Manager

Restarted my Macbook Pro running Mavericks this morning and received my very first alert from Sophos that malware had been detected. I opened Quarantine Manager, and upon clicking the lock to start the removal process, Sophos froze and I had to force quit. When I restarted it, I did not receive the malware message. So I ran a scan of all my files, and the log lists one threat detected and 205 issues, but when I opened Quarantine Manager, there was no threat listed, and so no action could be taken. Do I need to worry about this?

  • Thanks for your reply. The scan report of issues didn't bother me, but since one threat was detected, I was concerned. Since nothing showed up in the quarantine manager list, it probably was a transient file. So far everything seems to be working normally, so I'll just keep watching for alerts.
