Sophos v9 blocks Twitch.TV chat from connecting in Google Chrome, it works fine through Safari and Firefox. After posting to the twitch.tv community forum, someone pointed out to me that if you disable block malicious downloads & access options in the "Web Protection" section, this resolves the problem.
Does anyone know what these two options actually block and why it only blocks in Chrome and not Firefox or Safari?
I tried adding a bunch of domains into the "allowed websites" tab in "web protection" such as justin.tv but this doesn't seem to resolve this problem unless I disable both web protection.
I can't seem to find any section for viewing logs on what is blocked or not either. I had a look at the Sophos system log but nothing exciting there.
